If you want to learn more about the essay, firstly  you should find out the words you don’t konw and use context clues to understang word meanings, then you can understanding sentences and distinguishing Topic from Main idea.

首先明确context clues的字面意思 “文本线索”，可以引申理解为“利用语境线索;上下文”（这个不难理解吧）；

Distinguishing在这里应该是做动词意义，“辨别，区别”，从文章大意中判断主旨主题；

通过短语我们可以知道这几个词的意思分别是根据上下文猜测词意、理解句子、找出文章主旨；

按照逻辑关系顺序判断，我们可以简单梳理一下：
